Kamaaina Motors is a locally owned, family run business that has been doing business on the Big Island since 1905. Kamaaina Motors’ parent company, I. Kitagawa and Company, Limited has been in the Car Business since 1915. Kamaaina Motors moved to its present location in 1961 after the 1960 Tsunami which wiped downtown Hilo.
The Company has been selling Chrysler Products since 1936 making it the oldest Car Dealership in Hawaii and one of the oldest Chrysler Dealers in the United States.
